The coffee grown in Madagascar is primarily the lower grade Robusta coffee beans although there is an increasing amount of higher grade Arabica coffee now being cultivated in the country.The Minimum Order for the Organic coffee beans is: 18 Tons (300 bags) loaded in 20' CT.The Shipment will be by sea from Antsiranana/Diego port and from Toamasina port. At both ports there are two shipping line companies: CMA-CGM and MSC.

Robusta, being the most produced variety, grows in tropical areas at altitudes between 100m-300m along the east coast in the Vatovavy-Fitovinany region, around Tamatave, Antalaha, Andapa and the whole SAVA region as well as in the northwest, on Nosy Be, around Ambanja and along the Sambirano river.
Arabica grows at higher altitudes in the central highlands, mostly in the Antananarivo province and around Lake Alaotra on the northern central plateau.From small farmers without artificial fertilizers the plants are cherished and cultivated, until the mature coffee cherries are harvested singly. It has a distinct acidity and a light body.
Current Madagascar coffee production is 85% robusta and 15% arabica. Almost all crops in Madagascar are produced organically.
